When the Liberty Hill Panthers walked off the field after their 40-7 victory in Marble Falls on Oct. 30, they knew they wouldn’t return to the gridiron for competition for 21 days, as back-to-back bye weeks on the schedule have arrived, with the next game on Nov. 20 at home against Navarro.

You thought last week was rough. Coming off a 76-0 home victory over Crockett last week in the district opener, Liberty Hill football supporters who made the trip to South Austin in hopes of seeing a more competitive contest this week against Travis were sorely disappointed.

Liberty Hill’s football squad will certainly become familiar with Austin over the next couple seasons, as five of its six district opponents call the capitol of Texas home.
